Pamela Anderson has a new project on her plate. She's building her very own eco-friendly hotel in Abu Dhabi. It's environmentally friendly and is built with no fossil fuel.

About 500 environmental automobiles have been delivered to the Transport Department of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad, and will be used during the Beijing Olympic Games and Paralympics.

The HSBC Bank Headquarters Tower, located on the prominent Paseo de la Reforma in Mexico City, has become the first project in Latin America to achieve LEED Gold status.

When Beijing made its bid for the 2008 Olympics, its air quality was vying with Mexico City as the most polluted capital in the world. Beijing ultimately won the bid over Toronto and Paris due to the extensive plans to make the 2008 Olympic Games green.

Southern California Edison is installing 33,000 panels on top of a 600,000 square-foot warehouse in Fontana. This installation will be capable of generating 2m watts of power, enough electricity to supply approximately 1,300 average Southern California households at a point in time.
